Williamston Power Outages Caused by Weather

Edgecombe-Martin Electric Cooperative reports nearly 80 customers without power around Martin County. The time was estimated based on radar data.
Dominion Energy reports power outages around the county due to trees that fell on power lines. Wind gusts were estimated up to 50 to 55 mph.
Powerlines were blown down on alt hwy 64 west of Williamston close to Robersons Heating and Air. Powerlines were also blown down within Williamston and on McCaskey Rd and Corey Dr.
Some tropical storm force wind gusts affected the early during the overnight hours. Power outages resulted from trees and powerlines that were blown down. According to the NC Department of Public Safety, some 9,474 customers were without power across the county.
