Power Outage in Wayne, WV

High Wind. Over 22,000 homes in Wayne County were without power for a time due to numerous areas of downed trees and power lines.

Strong to severe thunderstorms out ahead of a cold front migrated into West Virginia on the afternoon of March 3rd. A cluster of storms in Wayne County led to downed trees and power lines late in the afternoon from strong wind gusts.
