Observed 0.75 inches of ice accumulation. A car was crushed from a falling tree weighed down by ice. Power poles were brought down by ice. Damage estimates are from local power cooperatives.

Freezing rain prevailed through the event with widespread 1/3 to 1/2 inch ice accumulations on trees, power lines and other elevated surfaces. Areas around El Reno reported 2/3 inches of ice.

An relatively long-lived weak tornado began northwest of SW 15th Street and Morgan Road in western Oklahoma City to the southeast of Yukon. The tornado moved just south of east for a little over 1.5 miles and into Oklahoma County. Damage to trees and power lines was noted, as well as very minor structural damage to some homes. Damages estimated.

Utility company and local media report between 1/8 and 1/4 inch of ice on trees, power lines, and vehicles. Sporadic to widespread power outages reported in the Yukon area.

A microburst occurred over eastern Canadian county near Yukon. The estimated 60-70 mph winds caused damage, starting with a collision between an 18-wheeler and two cars on Interstate 40 at Czech Hall Road. In addition, a medium size tree was downed, and power lines were downed at I-40 and Mustang Road. Two passengers in the automobiles sustained minor injuries. Interstate 40 was closed because of the debris from approximately 1603 - 1812 CDT. Additional damage occurred near the Woodrun Village apartments at Mustang and Reno roads. Some large tree limbs were snapped, one large tree was partially uprooted before the roots snapped, and four successive power poles were downed. Monetary damages were estimated.

The hardest hit areas were in the eastern half of the county. However, widespread tree damage was reported county-wide. Power lines and power poles were downed due to the ice accumulation, with over 5000 residents without power. Hundreds of business' also were without power. Some residents were without power for days. The water treatment facility was without power briefly, but generators were quickly installed to get a portion of the facility running. Numerous traffic accidents occurred as a result of the icy roads. The majority of slick spots were on bridges and other elevated surfaces. A structural fire caused over $50,000 in damage.

The tornado developed around 1505 CST near the intersection of NW 39th Street and Sara Road in western Oklahoma City, and moved north northeast. In this area several homes suffered roof and garage door damage. The tornado continued north along and just west of the Kilpatrick Turnpike. Significant damage was noted along NW 63rd Street, where a home was heavily damaged, several travel trailers and a boat were rolled and damaged. Several vehicles were also pushed by the wind.|Another area of significant damage was noted along Wilshire Blvd., just west of the Kilpatrick Turnpike. In this area a travel trailer was destroyed, with additional damage to a home and several outbuildings. Two people were directly injured in the travel trailer. In addition, several hardwood trees were snapped, indicative of EF2 damage.|The tornado appeared to have been at its widest toward the end of its path along Morgan Road just north of NW 122nd Street, and it was at this point along the path where the intensity appeared to have been at its highest. Several homes sustained significant roof and siding damage and several wooden power poles were snapped. A metal building was severely damaged. Just to the east of this location, three large electrical transmission towers were damaged. Spotty light damage continued a little further north before the tornado dissipated along Morgan Road north of Memorial Road at 1525 CST. Three additional people were directly injured on the Kilpatrick Turnpike. This EF2 tornado injured 5 people and caused an estimated half of a million dollars in damage.

High wind gusts were measured by 4 Oklahoma mesonet stations, along with a spotter in Carter county and an emergency manager in Hughes county. The high wind gusts ranged from 50 knots(58 mph) to 56 knots(65 mph). The highest wind gust was measured at the mesonet site at Piedmont in Canadian county. Wind damage was reported in the town of Lone Grove in Carter county. A large tree fell on the bed of a pick-up truck. There were also downed power lines in the area, some of which may have started area wildfires.
