May 1, 2011 - Thunderstorm Wind

Wind damage, in the form of a few downed trees and power lines, occurred between Achille and Colbert, south toward the Red River. The worst of the damage occurred near the intersection of River and Chickasaw roads. Monetary damage estimates were not available.

December 8, 2008 - Thunderstorm Wind

Several large, healthy trees were uprooted and blown over. One home sustained minor roof/shingle damage, one barn was destroyed and another had the roof and one wall blown down. Power lines and a power pole were also blown over on Highway 78. No injuries were reported at the residence and monetary damages were estimated.
