Ballwin Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Widespread wind damage across the southern portions of St. Louis County. Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Ballwin, Kirkwood, Sunset Hills, Glendale, Lemay, and Oakville.
A wide swath of damaging winds was reported across the western portions of St. Louis County. A 77 mph wind gust was recorded at Spirit of St. Louis Airport at 528 pm. Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Chesterfield, Wildwood, Ellisville, Clarkson Valley and Ballwin. A large tree was uprooted onto a house in Chesterfield causing moderate roof damage.
Thunderstorm winds blew down a few power lines in Chesterfield and a couple of very large tree limbs in Ballwin.
Amateur radio spotters reported several trees and power lines down in Wildwood.
