Bemidji Power Outages Caused by Weather

The emergency manager reports trees blown down in Bemidji, along with dime-sized hail. A trailer was blown over on Highway 71 near Anne Street. Power lines were down as a result of tree branch damage, and spotty fires were reported as a result of sparking power lines.
Large branches were blown down onto power lines, causing several power outages. A few trees were also toppled.
A swath of trees and power poles were snapped between Redby and Puposky, causing widespread power outages.
