A severe thunderstorm knocked down a couple of trees in Logan Township, including one onto Interstate 295. No injuries were reported. About 1,000 homes and businesses lost power in Gloucester County because of downed trees and tree limbs.
A squall line of severe thunderstorms tore down several trees and wires across the northwest half of Gloucester County. About 1,600 residents lost power during the severe thunderstorm. In Public Service Electric and Gas service area hardest hit in Glucester County was Deptford Township.
