Thunderstorm winds downed large trees and power lines in Crandall.
A downburst destroyed a storage building and partially unroofed a house west of Kaufman. Along FM 987, five homes were destroyed, trees and power lines were blown down. In the community of Post Oak Bend a mobile home was heavily damaged, a house was partially unroofed, and damage occurred to barns and trees. Minor roof damage occurred to several other structures. The strong winds caused five wrecks on Interstate 20 at mile marker 504.
