Ewing Power Outages Caused by Weather

An intense bow echo moved through Ewing, blowing down numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines. The radio tower at the Ewing Fire Station was blown down on top of the station. Also, one tree fell onto a mobile home causing extensive damage. Another mobile home had part of its tin roof ripped off. A nearby carport was flipped over onto an unoccupied car.
The Sheriff Department reported power lines down near Ewing.
Thunderstorm wind gusts downed some trees and power lines in Ewing. About 250 customers in the area lost power.
