A 67 MPH wind gust was recorded at the Izard County fairgrounds in Melbourne. A large tree blocked the road in front of the animal control building. Trees and power lines were down across the county. Damage occurred to homes and chicken houses. A store in Violet Hill had a tree fall on the roof. A house on Spring Street was damaged by a large tree.
