Jonesboro Power Outages Caused by Weather

Widespread wind damage was reported across Jonesboro, including a collapsed garage due to a tree falling on it. Numerous power poles were snapped across town. Numerous trees and power lines were down across the west side of Jonesboro. Some of the trees were up to five feet in diameter. In Anna, a large tree and numerous limbs were down.
Portable garage buildings were rolled over in Anna. A tree fell on a house in Anna, causing heavy damage to the roof. At Jonesboro, an antenna was ripped off the city hall, leaving a hole in the building. Bricks were blown off the Jonesboro city hall building, and there was some roof damage. Trees and power lines were blown down. Tree limbs fell on houses in Jonesboro.
