Thousands of residents without power in Central Ohio Wednesday morning | WSYX
It's a cold morning for thousands of people dealing with power outages. More than five thousand customers with South Central Power and AEP Ohio don't have electricity south of Columbus. According to a representative of AEP Ohio, there is a problem with the transmission line, which is also affecting South Central Power customers. Crews are working to transfer affected customers over to a new power source.
