A severe thunderstorm knocked down numerous trees on and around Curly Hill, Silo Hill and Gayman Roads in Plumstead Township. Two properties on Curly Hill Road had extensive tree damage and one had a broken gazebo. On Silo Hill Road, the siding and corner roof of a pole barn were torn away. In Pipersville in Tinicum Township, a few large tree limbs were knocked down. Around 550 homes and businesses lost power in the township. Power was fully restored by 715 a.m. EDT on the 16th.
