Power outages have been reported from several electric companies in Middle Tennessee Wednesday afternoon. The outages come as FOX 17 News is in a Code Red weather alert for extreme heat across the Midstate. Nashville Electric Services (NES) currently has over 2,000 customers with power outages for the second day in a row. Stay up to date by checking back at their power outage map here.
