Sunny Side Power Outages Caused by Weather

The Spalding County 911 center reported numerous trees and several power lines blown down across the county from Sunnyside to south of Griffin.
The Spalding County 911 Center reported that a number of trees and power lines were down from Sunny Side to the west side of Griffin. Trees were down on Manley Road west of Atlanta Road in the north part of the county, near Sunny Side. The Griffin Daily News reported that the downed trees also caused several power lines to be knocked down. Power lines were down across Manley Road resulting in several vehicle accidents. The public reported minor damage to a home in Griffin. A few shingles, parts of a gutter and siding were damaged. Loose items, such as lawn furniture, were blown from one yard into another.
