A squall line of severe thunderstorms downed numerous tree limbs and several trees across the southern or lower part of Bucks County. Broken tree limbs littered several roadways in the county. The combination of lightning and damaging winds caused about 11,000 homes and businesses to lose power.

The gust front from a severe thunderstorm produced wind damage across the southern or lower part of Bucks County from Warminster and Warwick Townships east to Yardley and in locations farther to the south. The largest power outages occurred in Levittown, Lower Southampton and Newtown. PECO Energy reported about 10,000 of its customers lost power in Bucks County.
