TOPEKA (KSNT) - Residents in a Southeast Topeka neighborhood have been without power for several hours on Friday due to maintenance issues.

Evergy crews were working to restore power to more than 500 customers who lost electricity early Friday in central Topeka. The outage knocked out traffic signals, such as the ones here at S.W. 17th and Washburn Avenue. Power was reported back on as of 8:18 a.m. Friday.
